Clinics
at the correctional facilities operated by the
Shattuck Hospital and an expanding telemedicine
program have greatly improved and streamlined
medical services to inmates throughout the
system.
Prison sited clinics accounted for over 8,000
visits in the past year and have become an
efficient and cost effective component of the
program. Telemedicine is now operational in
three correctional institutions and operates
approximately 20 sessions per month.
